SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS FROM MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA - 2 - 26 - 12

From what I have found, there is too much noise in modern life – and because of this many people are afraid of silence.  As God speaks only in silence, this is a big problem for those searching for God.  Many young people, for instance, don’t know how to reflect and just act instinctively. PRO-LIFE THOUGHTS FROM MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA - 2 - 26 - 12

There can never be too many children in the world just like there can be be too many flowers.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS FROM MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA - 2 - 19 - 12

The poor are hungry for God; they want to hear about Our Lord.  They do not worry
so much about material things; they want to hear that they have a Father in heaven who loves them.

PRO- LIFE THOUGHTS FROM PRIESTS FOR LIFE - 2 - 19  12

“. . . Jesus is always on the side of human life. His healing of some represents his liberation of all from the power of sin and death. Ultimately, the healings described in the Gospels point to the overthrow of the entire kingdom of death, and the final triumph of life. Christ
is life, and to stand with him is to stand with life and against whatever destroys it.”

SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS FROM MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA - 2 - 12 - 12

Today there is so much trouble in the world that I think that much of it begins at home.
The world is suffering so much because there is no peace in the family .
. . We must make our homes centers of compassion and forgive endlessly and so
bring peace.

PRO-LIFE THOUGHTS FROM A BUMPER STICKER - 2 - 12 - 12

“It is poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.”

SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS FROM MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA  2 - 5 - 12

Today, we have no time to look at eachother, to talk to each other, to enjoy each other. .  . And so less and less we are in touch with each other.  The world is lost for want of sweetness and kindness. People are starving for love because everyone is in such a great rush. PRO-LIFE THOUGHTS FROM POPE BENEDICT XVI - 2 - 5 - 12

The Church’s witness ... is of its nature public: she seeks to convince by
proposing rational arguments in the public square. The legitimate separation of
Church and State cannot be taken to mean that the Church must be silent on
certain issues, nor that the State may choose not to engage, or be engaged by,
the voices of committed believers in determining the values which will shape
the future of the nation.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHTS FROM MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA - 1 - 29 - 12

When I see how the poor remain neglected and unrecognized all around us, I understand the sadness of Christ at not being accepted by his own.  Today those who ignore or reject the poor, Ignore or reject Christ. The poor do us the honor to serve them. (Source:  Love: A Fruit Always in Season” edited by Dorothy Hunt)

PRO-LIFE THOUGHTS FROM PRIESTS FOR LIFE - 1 - 29 -12

“Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception.
From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as
having the rights of a person -- among which is the inviolable right of every
innocent being to life. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before
you were born I consecrated you” (Jer 1:5; cf Job 10:8-12; Ps 22:10-11). “My
frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately
wrought in the depths of the earth” (Ps. 139:15). Since the first century the Church
has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not
changed and remains unchangeable.” -- Catechism of the Catholic Church, n.
