Saint John Vianney Roman Catholic Parish, established in 1950, in the community of Mundy's Corner, PA., within the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, is a faith community of diverse ethnic backgrounds yet with the single-minded purpose of advancing Jesus Christ's kingdom, on earth.
To accomplish this task, the faith community lives by the parish motto of EURCHARIST, COMMUNITY, and CHARITY. The parish family honors the Eucharist through increased devotion through weekly adoration and special attention to reverent reception of the Lord's Body and Blood.
Our mission also is to improve the Community, not only of our parish-family, but the Community in general. Through works of compassion's and sweat and brow, we strive for a better community.
Charity is also our mission. The parish-family strives to follow Christ and perform acts of charity, not only for our parish-family, but for every soul in need.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to advance the faith through evangelization, communication, frequent prayer, and the nurturing of our youth through patient instruction.
